Preparation, mechanical properties of PET/SiO2 composites (in a range 1, 3, 5 and 7 wt. % concentration of SiO2) has been developed. Composites were prepared by extruding process. Checking of mechanical properties obtained bending, tension and impact strength, hardness. Composites results were compared with results of pure PET material (matrix), which went through the same technology processes (extruding processes). It has been shown, that filling the matrix with nanofiller in extruder has a great influence on properties of PET (matrix). Throughout prepared composites, the best mechanical properties in comparison with pure matrix material have PET/1%SiO2 composite.
